SUITE I
Approximately 650 square feet. This suite is on the upper floor
and is accessed directly from the private entry hall.
It has a "loft" feel with floods of light through
tall windows, skylights and transoms. It is architecturally very
unique - with high angled ceilings and exposed beams. An old-fashioned
iron queen-sized bed (with a ceiling fan high above) is in its own
sleeping alcove and is separated from the sitting room by a red
potbelly stove. The sitting area has a loveseat, two armchairs and a
coffee table.
In other corners of the suite are an antique French dining
table and chairs and a large free-standing closet and a TV chest. The
kitchen is done in old-style white cabinetry with antique glass and
green marble countertops. It has its own washer and dryer. The
bath has brass fixtures and a sunken Jacuzzi tub/shower, set in an
intricate mosaic tile floor. This is our most popular accommodation,
and if you like bright morning light, this is your spot.
